Chad M. Populis, Louisiana Civil Law Notary Public
ABOUT THE NOTARY
In Louisiana, a notary public is granted a broad range of powers usually reserved for attorneys in other states. The standard for testing new notaries in Louisiana prepares them for these tasks. A Civil Law Notary Public is authorized to independently draft and notarize many different acts, including but not limited to Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Real Estate Transfers, Small Successions, Formation Documents for Corporations and Limited Liability Companies, Matrimonial Agreements, and Contracts. A Civil Law Notary Public is a cost-efficient alternative to using an attorney for your simple notarial document needs.
Chad M. Populis is a married father of two sons, lifelong Louisiana resident, graduate of Warren Easton High School and attended the University of New Orleans. He enjoys Saints and LSU football and is a freelance photographer in his spare time.
In 2015, Chad was commissioned in Jefferson Parish as a Louisiana Civil Law Notary Public with statewide jurisdiction. He can prepare, pass, and notarize acts and documents in any Parish in the State of Louisiana. Acquiring training and experience as a loan signing agent, title abstract, mortgage loan originator, real estate salesperson, and property appraisal has prepared Chad for the many situations he will face as a notary.
As a member of the Louisiana Notary Association and the National Notary Association, Chad Populis Notary is committed to providing clients with the highest standard of service for a fraction of the price charged by attorneys.
